Terrain Decal mode

This mode helps adding detail to the terrain by means of “decals” or standalone texture objects that can be moved around, rotated and resized all over the terrain.

For creating these, a material (and a subdiv index where applicable) must be set. One can set an initial rotation and size, these can also be random. As texture blend layers, decals can also set up detail amount for each.

As parameters, one can set if it will be enabled or not, and the blend mode, which will determine the way the layer will be blended.

HeightMap mode

This mode allows the user to modify the terrain geometry. A set of 3 different brushes is made available for doing so.

Raise/Lower brush: this brush just adds or substracts height to the area being painted.
Flatten brush: this brush raises or lowers the affected area to a given height.
Smooth brush: this brush applies a smoothing effect (thus flattening sharp spikes and such) to the area being painted.
